Alien Species, Governments and relations

-Draken Kingdom-

The Draken are one of the first races encountered by the Earth Empire, their own territory residing the closest to the empire. They are reptilian, standing about a head taller than a human when fully upright and have natural weapons such as claws, spines and a powerful tail.

They were briefly at war with the Earth Empire not long after the first encounter due to a series of misunderstandings. A catalyst of both the beginning and end of the war was surprisingly their religion, which sees them as not being born of Draka and depicts a human like species.

Their political system is akin to old Earth Monarchy, with a king or queen as head of the state and nobles who control the territory. As an outset they have a very regal code of honour. Relations have since picked up with the Draken and the Earth Empire now has an alliance and good trade with them.

-The Galactic Council-

The Galactic Council is the gathering of all the major space faring races, which deal with matters raised by its members and threats to galactic security.

It is difficult to get membership as all current members have to accept the request of the race in question.. As of the moment humanity has not joined.
